Nokia Dual Sim Phones: Nokia X1-01 And C2-00 with its endorser, Vic Sotto!

Nokia brought noontime fun to primetime at the launch of their new X1-01 and C2-00 mobile phones at Spicy Fingers in Greenbelt 2 in Makati City. To promote the new mobile phones, Nokia has picked actor and variety show host Vic Sotto as the C2-00’s endorser, who graced the event together with two other comediennes, Ruby Rodriguez and Petite.


While competitors are more aggressive in promoting high-end mobile devices like smartphones and tablets to the market, we were a bit amazed about Nokia’s move to throw such a vigorous event for the X1-01 and the C2-00. The two mobile phones mentioned are among Nokia’s least expensive offerings, where the key selling point is the dual SIM function.

Nokia’s implementation of the dual SIM function on the two handsets is unique. Both the X1-01 and the C2-00 are capable of remembering settings for up to five separate SIM cards. Users can even personalize each SIM by assigning to it a logo, music signature or ringtone.
