SMART's Uzzap will be terminated by July 18
Uzzap is an all-in-one messenger where you can text message to a SMART number, send emails, message Facebook friends and chat straight from an Uzzap Application.
Uzzap was launched last July 2008 by Smart, as one of the first all-in-one messaging service in the Philippines which offers unlimited chat, messaging on its first beta test. But as what other says, 'everything has an end'; the end of Uzzap has come. Before this are just a rumors but as I checked my Uzzap account, an Extended Message from Uzzap_Admin informed me that Uzzap will be terminated by July 18, that's about 4 years of offering free chat service for Smart users.
As a user, it is really hard to say goodbye to my very first application that offers messaging.It was late 2010 since I joined Uzzap with my sliding Samsung phone; where I found my new friends, virtual friends, and clans that willing to talk to me in terms of being alone.
So what's the reason behind this?
As of this moment there is no official press release about this information but maybe because of abusive users that floods, and do illegal things virtually. And maybe because they want to focus on their new application Smartnet which is available on App Store and Google Play; sorry for Java phones.
"Everything has an ending, every ending is a new beginning." this is the time of Smart to develop Smartnet which offers something new and much better than Uzzap.

As everybody requested, Smartnet app should be available in all platform and not limited only for Android and iOS devices.
Let's enjoy the last days of Uzzap service, and grab this opportunity to say goodbye to our virtual friends.
