Tutorial: Get the New Facebook Timeline Now!
Facebook recently announced its Timeline that tells story of your Facebook life. The history of your Facebook life can be seen with this Timeline, you can view it by Month, or by day! It will be looked like the story of your life! Sounds cool? So excited to try this feature now, Unfortunately, it will be released within this week? But I'll give you the tutorial on how to experience it right now!.
Before anything else, you must:
- A little bit idea about developing Facebook applications.
- A verified Facebook account, means you need a credit card or phone number to be verified. It is needed if you are going to make an Application.
Steps:
1. Go to Facebook.com and Log-in with your account.
2. Search for the Application: Developer or simply go to http://www.facebook.com/developers . You must enable your Developer mode using your credit card or phone number.
3. Once all are ready, you may now proceed to Create a new app
4. Go to your Application, then to app’s main settings screen
5. Look for the “Open Graph” header as you see below:
Create a test action for your app, like “read” a “blog”, or “kill” a “cockroach”, then click Get Started!. Try it for at least 3 times
6. Go back to your Facebook Homepage, you must see an invitation for Timeline, and click Get it Now!
And you’re done! as easy as that!
