Smart Communications said that their network will be "LTE-ready" by as early as mid-2012. This means we will experience a connection faster than the existing 3G technology, and its advancements will process data in the blink of an eye (i.e. up to 42 Mbps).

LTE is the most advanced among fourth generation of mobile broadband service, known simply as the fastest 4G.
LTE will be first offered to the country by SMART. The technology will be the fastest and biggest addition to the company’s wide array of mobile broadband services.
Downloading of large files may be more possible in just a minute with this Smart 4G LTE, may be the price will be higher than its current broadband because of this advance technology.
