Samsung Galaxy SIII Announced! Features, Tech Specs, Price and more!

After a long wait, the Next Galaxy is official, the Samsung Galaxy SIII. It was recently announced at an event in London.

It's major specs include a Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) as Operating System, a 4.8-inch PenTile Super AMOLED display at 720p resolution, 8-megapixel camera (primary) and 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera, 16 ,32GB or (64GB soon) of storage with microSD expansion slot, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, GPS with GLONASS reception, WiFi a/b/g/n, WiFi HT40, 2,100 mAh Battery; and with additional features of Direct call, Smart alert, Tap to top, Camera quick access, Pop up play, S Voice ,Burst shot & Best photo, Recording snapshot, HDR.

A lot of features were added to this new member of Galaxy line-up, the S Voice, S Beam, Pop up play, and AllShare Cast.

S Voice

a Siri-like voice recognition system that allows the phone to recognize commands a user.

S Beam

allows you to transfer large files to other phones quickly. For example, more than 1GB size of file in less or more a minute.

Pop up play

allows the user to watch a video anywhere on the screen while using other apps. For example, checking your text message wile watching a video.

AllShare Cast

allows content on the phone to be immediately sent to a compatible display.

Samsung's Galaxy S III is going to be launched for European Countries on May 29th with the 32GB model as a Vodafone exclusive for the first month. While the 4G versions, soon to North America and Japan and this June for US.
