iPad 4 : iPad with Retina display
Apple officially announced the 4th generation iPad to replace the 3rd generation iPad. The iPad 4 has been named by Apple as "iPad with Retina display". So what does this latest generation of iPad offers?
The iPad 4 packed with the new A6X processor that is twice as fast compared to previous version, means it doubles the performance of CPU tasks, now with 2048-by-1536 resolution at 264 pixels per inch (ppi), FaceTime HD camera and iSight Camera.
Now, it has the new Lightning connector, same with Apple's newest product such as the iPhone 5 and iPad Mini.
The battery still lasts up to 10-hours of surfing the web on Wi-Fi, watching video, or listening to music.
Same with the iPad 3, it has the newest iOS 6 as the operating system and packed with Siri.
As conclusion, I think Apple killed the 3rd Generation iPad and replaced with the iPad 4 (iPad with Retina Display) because on Apple's website the details about the iPad 3 has gone and replaced the comparison with iPad 2 versus iPad with Retina Display instead of iPad 3 versus iPad with Retina Display.
One more, I think they announced this new iPad just to join with the family of Apple devices with Apple's new Lightning connector.
Price for Wi-Fi 16GB starts at $499, 32GB - $599, 64GB - $699;
and for Wi-Fi + Cellular 16GB - $629, 32GB - $729 - 64GB $829.
Are you buying this one or get the new iPad Mini?
