Apple officially announced the iPad Mini, which good to describe as the smaller kind of iPad because of 7.87 inches (200 mm) x 5.3 inches (134.7 mm) compared to the typical size of iPad: 9.50 inches (241.2 mm) x 7.31 inches (185.7 mm). It comes on black and white model with 1024 x 768 resolution same with the iPad 2.

The iPad Mini (Wi-Fi) weighs 0.68 pound (308 g) while the (Wi-Fi + Cellular) weighs 0.69 pound (312 g), which is obviously lighter than the previous iPad. It packs with dual-core Apple A5 processor, with a 5-megapixel camera and 802.11n Wi-Fi. It also has a Lightning Connector, just like the iPhone 5.

The iPad mini starts at $329 for the Wi-Fi-only version with 16GB capacity; and 32GB and 64GB variants cost $429 and $529.
