Kulo Art Exhibit, Is this what we called Art?

Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) officials last Wednesday decided to close down the “Kulo” art exhibit that housed the controversial Mideo Cruz “Poleteismo” artwork.


What's the problem with this man? What's the problem with what he called Art. Any problem with their medium? Any problem with us? Somebody said that Filipinos can't understand and appreciate Art?


The only problem with Mideo Cruz' Art Work is kinda offensive to Religious Institutions especially to the Catholic. He used the portrait of God and other objects that are related to Catholic. We are in Catholic Country that is the reason why he got a big number of criticism. Is this what we called Art?



Everybody says that an Artist is a genius or Intelligent enough to make this kind of Art. A simple man will never make this kind of Art because he knows that he may offend somebody. I am respecting Mideo's expression through Art, but he should Think first before doing that thing.


I don't want my child in the future to this kind of Art....


That is not an Art anymore once you abused it and once you insult anybody.


Freedom of expression is not bad if you made it in a right way.
