Tutorial: How to Disable or Remove Facebook Timeline
Facebook announced its Timeline since September then officially released it this April for profile of every user and every pages. Some like this new interfaces because of its integration to different application, easy to access the history of your profile and the big cover photo. But some are not happy with this update because they think that this is not easy to understand and want to get their old Facebook profile back. So how to disable or remove the Facebook Timeline?
So I will give you the simple and very easy tutorial. But first of all, this can be seen by you only aside those who installed the TimelineRemove extensions for your browser (extension also used in our last post: How To Return Back The Old Facebook Sidebar Chat?)
This Tutorial was provided with a help of TimelineRemove.Com and here is some of the information provided:
If you don’t like the new Timeline feature on Facebook and want to view profiles in the old style, then TimelineRemove is the perfect extension for you. This tiny, but handy tool disables the new Facebook timeline feature and restores the classic look, without changing the timeline behavior for other visitors of your Facebook profile. The extension basically works by hiding the timeline, so you can view your own and others’ profilesin the old style.TimelineRemove works automatically once installed, and a button is added to the toolbar that letsyou toggle the timeline on and off, whenever you want. Now let's proceed to the instruction:
1. Download the extension based on your browser (just click your browser and the extension will start to download, just save if there's a save or discard options):
Safari (working in progress)
2. Open or Double click the downloaded file, then hit install!
3. Some browser need to restart or close the open windows to have an effect to your Facebook profile, then ...Ta..Da!
Welcome back old Facebook Profile!
For me, better to stay on the new interface to be familiar and never been outdated when Facebook launch something new in few weeks or months.
